The Fairlop Files.
Yesterday, I took a trip that I first embarked upon around thirty-five years ago. It was to a place called Fairlop which is situated at the end of the Central Line on the London Underground. The reason that I ventured so far out all those years ago, was to see what EXACTLY Fairlop had that merited it’s own Tube Station. On that journey, I decided that there was nothing worthy of note in that vicinity so I buzzed off as quickly as I had arrived.
As I said, I ventured back there yesterday for a second glance at Fairlop Station and I present for you, an audio travelogue in which I discover the truth behind the Fairlop legend.
Listen with headphones and experience the wonders of the far reaches of the Central Line.
